As I look back at how I stumbled into this, and see how much it has grown, thanks in large part to my many return customers, I can’t tell you how grateful I am to you for all your support. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

Looking back at 2009, it was a bit of a challenging year. There were no huge Blockbusters like 2008’s The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Iron Man, to name just a few. But, there were still some great films, like Star Trek (much to my surprise, I must admit), G.I. Joe, He’s Just Not That Into You as well as some films that came out of nowhere, like Slumdog Millionaire, Gamer, Santa Buddies and The Ugly Truth to be popular sellers.

From a HitDVDs4u.com standpoint, there were some changes as well, some that were well received such as bringing back Used Titles, having monthly sales, sharing info via the Blog as well as some that maybe didn’t work out as well as I’d hoped, like introducing Blu-Ray DVDs, using Twitter to share info and expanding product line to include more Documentary and Sports titles. Although some ideas obviously worked better than others, I am still quite pleased overall and am happy to hear your feedback on how we can do better.

2010 should be a great year for movies again, with such 09 Blockbusters to be released to DVD early in 2010, such as Avatar, Sherlock Holmes and 2010, as well as Big Budget films to be released this year, including Iron Man 2, Spider-Man 4, Robin Hood and many others.

Moving forward into 2010, I am excited to continue to work with you to make HitDVDs4u.com a better and easier place for you to buy Movies. We will be looking at re-introducing Blu-Ray, continue to offer Used DVDs, and (perhaps best of all) continue to bring you at least 1 sale every month! We will also be looking at adding new products to the mix through partnerships with others, so hopefully we will be able to offer movies and related products such as books, merchandise and collectibles. This won’t happen over night, but hopefully by the summer, you will notice other exciting products available. I am also looking at creating a stronger Online presence in order to tap into a new customer base, which should help increase sales thus keeping prices low.

Another area that I am very pleased about is the $10 price point that I established in the 2005 and have been able to maintain, despite the fact that the cost per DVD has risen almost 75%. Most of the credit for that should go to you. Since we are able to sell more DVDs which enables the price to stay the same. Despite the fact that once again this year costs will rise, I am confident we can maintain the same price point, thanks to your support!
